Visiting a church for the first time can be a challenging experience. Where do I go? What time do services start? What’s available for my children? What should I expect?
We want to put you at ease so that your visit to Faithway Baptist Church is a beneficial experience for you and your whole family.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IN A SERVICE?
Our primary morning worship service is on Sunday at 10:30am. Christian songs and Bible teaching combine to teach us spiritual truth for life.
After the service our Pastor will be available to say hello and to informally answer any questions you may have about our church.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
If your preference in style is dressy, business, or casual attire, chances are there will be others dressed much like you when you visit. Many prefer to dress up for worship on Sundays.
Toddlers and children learn while they play, so their clothing often reflects their play and hands-on learning activities. Teens dress casually, especially on Wednesday evenings to fit the physically-engaged games and activities.
WHERE DO I ENTER?
Our main entrance is highlighted by a welcome awning on the parking lot side (north) of the building.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?
On Sunday mornings, friendly greeters will be available to meet you. They can direct you to the auditorium, classrooms, or nurseries. On Sunday evenings and Wednesdays evenings, church members will be happy to assist you.
WHAT ABOUT INFANTS, TODDLERS, AND CHILDREN?
Supervised nurseries for infants to 24 months are available during all services, freeing parents to worship, receive instruction from God’s Word, and participate in ministry – confident that their children’s needs are being met.
Classes for children 2 years old–6th grade meet during all Sunday morning services. A class for chldren 2 and 3 years old meets during all Sunday evening services.
Wednesday’s “family hour” (from 7-8pm) provides classes for all age groups. 2 yrs. old – 6th graders participate in Kids-4-Truth, teenagers participate in Thrive, and Adults meet for Bible study and prayer.
